I have from my provider a so called EU Internet day-pack (50 MByte per day for 1.95 euro per day: https://www.fonic.de/tarife-und-optionen ) and was (wrong) thinking that I have to re-configure the APN. 50 MB/day is enough if I only want to check mails from time to time.
