Thanks for the sanity check!

I walked away from it and slept. When I woke it was booted. Makes me
suspect this is the old "apparmor profiles take a long time to
process" thing. Which is exacerbated by me having quite a few click
packages installed:-

alan@deep-thought ~> adb shell click list | wc -l
1222
