Morning all, here's a bumper update covering the last couple of weeks in Core Apps!
Most of the core apps are now in maintainenece mode, fixing bugs rather than landing new features. As reported previously a number are getting new or refreshed designs including Music, Calculator, Weather and Clock. The fruits of those designs will be seen shortly. More news on that when we have it. I'd like to thank all the phone users who've been filing high quality bug reports for the core apps developers. We're getting lots of great feedback from our users, and it's really helping us to polish and refine each of the applications. Thank you! We've also had some new developers join the core apps team to contribute in areas that matter to them. This month we've had new contributions to the Document Viewer and the Ubuntu Geonames project (used by some of the core apps for getting location data), which have been great to see. We welcome new contributions across the board, but if you have a specific area or app of interest we can probably find something for you!
