Hello, We re-evaluated this plan and decided that, in order to avoid any app breakage, we are not making this change now, but at a later point when we introduce a new version of Ubuntu.Components (probably 1.2).
So when importing a current version of Ubuntu.Components (1.0 or 1.1), make sure you set MainView.useDeprecatedToolbar to false to get the new header. Greets, Tim.
