Hi Peter, The menu should be present. Are you missing the Build menu item or the entire Qtcreator menus? If the latter, you might want to check if you have the package *appmenu-qt5* installed on your system as it enables the global menus for qt5 applications. If this doesn't work, please specify which desktop environment you are using.
