Drifting even more away from the topic, what's the status or plan with mediscanner2 & friends for DLNA/UPnP support? I remember qtgrilo usage is planned to be stopped to be used, ie. dropping grilo usage in general. There's a related stalled MIR bug for getting grilo to main [1], since we currently have DLNA/UPnP support disabled on desktop too in Totem, since grilo can't be used as its build dependency.
