The .crash file was missing a Package field for some reason, but after adding that manually I was able to get a backtrace on mako (+ apport-retrace + daisy): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtdeclarative-opensource-src/+bug/1284581 The whole backtrace is within the V8 engine that powers QML in Qt 5.0 (V8 is no more in Qt 5.2). The only idea so far shared to me has been "flee to [Qt] 5.2 asap", but while I can't make that decision we'd need to figure out if these crashes are coming from Android 4.4 in general somehow.
