These are the issues I have discovered so far: The guide is virtually identical to the old porting guide. The only difference appears to be the paragraph at the start explaining that the containers have been flipped and that everything is different now. The rest seems to be a direct copy & paste. In particular, command examples are unchanged. I am told that everyone should be using saucy now, but these instructions get you the default branch, which is not saucy. Nobody on the IRC channel seems to be able to agree on how you are supposed to obtain the saucy branch. The only suggested way which actually worked was to delete the repo and start over, manually pulling saucy with repo and not using phablet-dev-bootstrap at all. Both the new and old guide share a couple of trivial mistakes. The first command you run inside the croot (breakfast) fails because the environment has not yet been configured and how to do that isn't explained until much later in the guide. Both claim that breakfast creates .repo/local_manifest.xml but it does not.
