So I assume you are grabbing the latest ubuntu side and using some system side you built, correct? If that is the case, make sure your android source tree has an updated lp:platform-api and an updated lp:phablet-extras/libhybris Look at adb logcat to figure out what's going on too. The build works fine on manta and maguro fwiw.
