One of the gestures that I love on my iPhone, but which sadly is deployed rather inconsistently, is what I call "tug down to refresh". I think I first saw it on the Huffington Post app, and then it showed up in the Mail app in iOS 6 (with a very cute graphic that's an oddly addictive game :).
