Just my 2 cents: Lack of autorotation can also be seen as a feature. Supporting rotations everywhere can be very confusing, forcing the user to hold the device in a certain angle towards gravity just to get the expected layout. And btw. the photo app already supports autorotation and in this particular case it really makes sense.
