Hi All,
I've just completed a fresh install of 12.04, and now that I've made my
TV the "only" monitor, the xfont size is illegibly small.
How can I change this?

What I did:
Install fresh using a 1600x1200 HP monitor, via DVI.
Took the box home, and plugged it into my LG LED TV using HDMI (same vga
card), and found that it operated at 1366x768 pixels.
Reconnected using the DVI to VGA cable and got 1920x1080 - BUT all the
linux level fonts (eg: in xterm) are too small to read.

I'm guessing the fontsize was set when I installed using the 1600x1200
led screen, and is not getting updated as I change monitors.

I am using the "closed" nVidia drivers.

Thanks in advance,
Zoltan

I would try plugging in the TV with HDMI (which allows the TV to tell myth some things about what it can and cannot do audio-wise), then do this:
