I don't know very clearly on how Ubuntu to package a software, e.g., GCompris ( 
http://gcompris.net/ ).

Here is my question and a hope: is it possible to replace buggy gcompris 9.0 
with many bugs fixed gcompris 9.2 in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS?

I have reported a bug ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567162 ) into Ubuntu as 
below:

Until today, I knew Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Beta 2 adopted that buggy initial version 
of GCompris 9.* series.

The newest GCompris 9.2 has fixed almost all the bugs found and added some new 
language voices packages.

Is it possible to replace buggy gcompris 9.0 with many bugs fixed gcompris 9.2 
in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS?
