-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Right now, libmp4v2 is provided by the mpeg4ip package, which has ceased development since September 2007.
In 2009, the library was forked into a separate project, available here: http://code.google.com/p/mp4v2/ It is packaged on debian-multimedia.org, as libmp4v2-1 (ours is libmp4v2-0 from mpeg4ip). Should we get it into Ubuntu to get a version of the library with active upstream development? And if so, what will be the fate of mpeg4ip? Its upstream is dead, and it was pretty much only uploaded to Ubuntu for libmp4v2 in the first place. (Before that, we had an even older version provided by faac.) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJK9oQ/AAoJEDqDNnQ69yYSkfIH/A55v5QSnWkBcG66ClSwO4g3 7J9Qc9BY3ne1XaY0uALVY1QeLWmGAV16sAxIyGDjz6TYHSb9UGBiHTgNjJLdL2Wx ephizlXG0FbrPoWSn28yF8zuNOMVS3mRfsQ+nmCRYH7z4c3/UwVC/ZiRG7uGSPp5 fxPWprZvvjYXA2/ooPHOHYNF6ZugAfQnM0E8PZ1bTcM9b5TKPPHDJ2+rQKxk03Gl 8WAdnEq+eCClJXNe/dqCOtRltu3g7leBCNWiMtgPJEP/5BC4bjj8WJWMiHXpmItr 6MSLlyVSidNJyAEdWxBbL6its96jOiDnaVCY9GqU6rQfzCSXotQ968fTHCcZXR4= =Rx24 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Ubuntu-motu mailing list Ubuntu-motu@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-motu
