We're running Hardy, but I checked whether the file has been included all the way through Karmic. It has not. It is present in lesstif-dev, but not libmotif-dev, we use openmotif. I have no problem submitting another bug report, if that will get it taken care of.

Which version are you running now? Jaunty (and Karmic) both have 2.2.3-4. Thanks Caroline
