Obviously, most of us cant sponsor to debian. > I first thought people where just lazy and didn't mark it as "In > Progress", so I did. However, when I came across a second package with > similar problems, I started to wonder if I did the right thing. People are supposed to search the usual places (debian mentors, revu, debian itself, etc). Unfortunately, when they don't, they create extra work for themselves. > > What should be the status of a bug like this, should I change it back > and if so, what is the right way of filtering these bugs out of my > list? I think you're doing the right thing, and to filter the in progress bugs out, do a search on launchpad (the ubuntu section), for the needs-packaging tag. Of course, commenting on the bug about the specifics (as well as setting it in progress) is very useful Hobbsee -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGqyvd7/o1b30rzoURArqnAJ96WL1iVC47JpoEHquZe4Ou7zteDACeMwb5 rw2h26i+UNzv1/s3LdNikoE= =oYPL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Ubuntu-motu mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-motu
