Hello, I was told by Jordan Crouse, one of the xorg developers, that XVideo is supported by the code now. Unfortunately the current ubuntu package of xserver-xorg-video-amd is based on an old version without XVideo support. As my hardware system is based on a rather slow cpu (LX-800 from AMD), video operations often bring up cpu use to 95% or more without XVideo. Would it be possible for you to update the package?
