I'd personally like this better:  "As the author of the debdiff or the
person acknowledging the patch, please set yourself as a bug contact for
the package for at least the following 2 weeks in order to get
notifications of any regressions."

Asking the motu-sru team to be bug contact for a bunch of packages might
be adding a bit much to their workload.

What do you think?
