Hi,
I noticed yesterday that osso-af-settings.pc was broken in Ubuntu since
June due to the combination of a timestamp skew, missing
am_maintainer_mode in the package, and package being incompatible with
newer autoconf (datarootdir missing); see Maemo #2383 and #2384.
The symptom is broken installation directories at make install time due
to similar queries returning nothing:
% pkg-config --variable dbusservicedir osso-af-settings
("pkg-config --print-errors --variable prefix osso-af-settings":
Variable 'datarootdir' not defined in
'/usr/lib/pkgconfig/osso-af-settings.pc')
This is fixed in osso-af-settings 0.9.0-1ubuntu3.

hildon-control-panel
hildon-desktop
moblin-applets
