These mockups are supposed to show possible UI functionality as well as artwork. Much of the UI stuff is still up in the air as we are not that far along with the technical implementation. The different version I have been posting are simply different ideas for the UI and themeing of the entire "desktop" (for lack a better word). As for the internationalization question, at this time the language is set at build time although this might be changed in the future. I am not sure how far we have delved into the techinical issues invloved there though. Again AFAIK, Unicode support is pretty much the standard in linux these days so that part, at least, should not be a problem.
