Rgds, German ________________________________ From: Degon, MichaelX J Sent: Tuesday, July 17, 2007 9:23 AM To: Monroy, German Subject: McCaslin Samsung Q1 Ultra Ubuntu Image installation test results 071607 German, Below are the results from trying to load the McCaslinSamsungQ1Ultra image on a Samsung Q1 Ultra:: It looks like it loaded a kernel into memory, but could not find a storage device. As illustrated by the error below: ( first it loads the kernel into memory, identifying the hardware without issue.........) Then Begin: Running /scripts/init-premount Done: Begin: Mounting root file system.... Mount: Mounting /dev/sda on /container failed: no such device Mount: Mounting /container /rootfs.img on /squashmnt failed: no such device Mount: Mounting none on /root failed: no such device Done: Begin: Running /scripts/init-bottom ... Mount: Mounting /root/dev on /dev/.static/dev failed: No such file or directory Done: Mount: Mounting /sys on /root/sys failed: No such file or directory Mount: Mounting /proc on /root/proc failed: No such file or directory Target file system doesn't have /sbin/init At this point, it seems not to find a storage device, the installation process reverts to a BusyBox shell. That's it, it goes not further.
