WhyUbuntu.com is moving forward, even though there hasn't been much conversation about it in the past few days.  I was a little embarrassed that after proof reading I actually posted the idea about the beer commercial.  Gosh that was a mistake.  If anyone's actually spending their time on that one please stop.  We're probably going to make more enemies than friends.

Seeing the recent comparison video and listening to Stephen Michael's "radio propoganda" has given me a bit of an idea for two teaser videos that should be quick to produce.  I don't have the recording equipment to do the audio and need some help.   I also don't have the script for the second video yet, and will be working on that over the next week.

Here's the first one.  Rendered it should take no more than 15 seconds.

Dan: We've got an IT upgraded scheduled this year, and I've got the figures for you.

(shuffling paper noises)

Steve: What's this? We just upgraded to Vista and you asked for more money to make the switch from XP. This year you're telling me we have to find money for Windows 7 because Vista's too slow? We've still got employees sharing machines because we can't afford hardware, times are tough (sigh).  Most of this budget is software. Isn't there a better way?

The Indiana Department of Education does
They saved $100,000,000 a year

This video is nothing more than a voice over and some matching pictures floating across the screen.  I figure we can be creative with what's shown... that's where ya'll come in.  Stephen, can you get ahold of that recording equipment and run the script with a buddy?  Anyone else?  Give it a shot.  I'll run a version of the vid once I've got the audio track, but anyone else is willing to do their own as well.
