Hello Everyone, I am the site administrator at Buntfu.com... It has been about 5-6 months since the Buntfu.com launch.. Needless to say like every other new venture online advertising is a struggle. Especially when there isn't a pot of gold to advertise with. However the advertising in place for Buntfu is very solid and has been getting the word out quite successfully despite the missing pot of gold.
I still believe very strongly about the idea of a community based PC vendor. I am writing this email requesting support from the loco teams and general users alike. I whole heartedly believe Buntfu can make some serious inroads for Ubuntu/Linux since we are giving everyone a venue to display/sell their linux based pc without the cost from the likes of Ebay or any other shopping site for that matter. Also with the site being solely focused on Ubuntu/Linux machines its much easier to attract interest to your post/PC since those users on the site are already interested in Linux. Being so focused on one purpose also makes advertising the site easier and more targeted. But the site does need a helping hand from the community. I am really interested in having Buntfu become a PC vendor in its own right run by us the users. Please don't be offended by this post.... I am not trying to spam just looking for help..
