Welcome Steve.

Afaik, there is nobody doing any surveying. It would be great to get
some high quality data about Ubuntu users. The major challenge with
online surveys is that what you are surveying is online Ubuntu users,
not Ubuntu users. How exactly you actually get a representative sample
of all Ubuntu users is currently escaping me. I would love to see
somebody who knew what to do taking this on.
