Hello everyone, Next Thursday we will release Gutsy Gibbon Beta. Does anyone have some time to create a cool wiki page with the new features? This should incorporate ideas from the previous tribes [1], the implemented (or nearly implemented) Gutsy specs [2], and of course everything else that comes to your mind.
For Ubuntu, this should roughly comprise: - Compiz Fusion - Desktop search (tracker) - Deskbar applet - Fast user switching applet - automatic installation of Firefox plugins provided and validated by Ubuntu - displayconfig-gtk - fully automatic printer installation - restricted-manager support for firmware installatino (Broadcom cards and softmodems for now) - gnash - NTFS writing OOTB - OEM ubiquity Thanks a lot in advance, and have a good weekend!
