To start out my response on this article I would like to say that I am a linux only user. So is my wife, father, mother, brother and grandpa. I really thought this article was well written. I think it was written with some really good points and he didn't bash anything. One thing I didn't hear or read was that MS doesn't come running smooth out of the box either. There are tons of things that need to be loaded or tweaked but the average user normally has that done for them. Very few of them wade through them alone. Sure we have some codecs to load but (correct me if I am wrong) the reason we don't have those out of the box is a legal one. Anyway, I just wanted to put my two cents in...
