Clearly, the girls who are there because they want to be (and not the wives who have been unwillingly dragged along) will find ways to demonstrate that they know what they're doing, and the guys who think otherwise will be forced to eat their words (and/or bad opinions). ;) Of course, it shouldn't be need to be this way, but is the way the world works, at least currently.
