Yes. Quite so!

But keep in mind the *news* value of what may happen. It could be 
adverse, and give a negative impression of the ubuntu family of 
products. News, blogs , spin, media, etc does not hav eto be fair, or 
accurate, or positive in our favour. A lot of the sector just want 
something to print!

I think we will not only need to be well aware of the events and have 
our own analysis, but also to respond in a timely way.

News media - printed, internet, TV, radio, etc  - are all very highly 
geared to (not ongoing information) - something that is 'New', a 
change. If or when ubuntu stops being top ranking, will the news be 
good or bad? Are we just going to stand by?
