One of the issues I would like to talk with you more about is press releases for when new versions of Ubuntu are finalized. In the past these have been largely aimed at the tech press. With the increased interest from people outside of that group, among people who are less tech-savvy and may never have used (or even heard of) Linux before, I think it's important that we also have announcements worded in a way to be useful for that segment. I tried throwing together a little something to submit to my local press on Dapper release, but I'm probably not the best person to write stuff like that - so if that lies in someone's job description, well, you get the picture. ;) For instance, the CBC is apparently on place in mainstream media that this sort of thing could get - see http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2006/12/11/tech-novellopensuste102-061211.html.
