Is the information here http://ubuntu-manual.org/getinvolved/authors#install-texlive still valid or can I install from the repos. I'm using 12.04
I would suggest this line needs change to a current version as it makes the page look rather dated:- "Note: These instructions assume that you are using Ubuntu 9.04 or later." Between these two lines I would add, $ mkdir ~/Projects 1. Create a new directory in your home folder called Projects. 2.
