I'm not sure if this "needs" to be added to the guide (which is extremely helpful, by the way), but if your physical computer doesn't support the virtualization technologies (AMD-V or VT), then you won't be able to install a 64-bit OS--regardless of whether you're physical machine has a 64-bit os or not.
For example, my computer is running Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit, and I installed the amd64 version of VirtualBox. But, since my BIOS doesn't support AMD-V, I'm only able to install 32-bit guests. Have a great day:) Patrick. On Tue, 2012-05-29 at 13:51 -0700, Che Dean wrote: > Hi guys, > I've been busy the last week as I'm currently visiting the USA.
