[@ "The Ubuntu Desktop" chapter authors] As we are covering the new environment of Ubuntu, Unity, we should add whatever is relevant to the section that we are working on. We can't simply make some changes to the sentences so as to make sense with Unity, we have to cover the whole new environment (Dash, Launcher, the top panel=>menu of a running programme). So co-authors write for any part of the new environment that is relevant to the section you chose, and if you need extra help just shout :). Although the above may sound just reasonable and not worthy enough to mention, i do mention them because the changes, actually Unity, makes the chapter of 10.10 totally outdated, thus the existing sections don't have clear boundaries. ps1: In my section i covered Launcher, it was necessary for me to continue writing for my section. Since Launcher is a key component of the new environment we must move it to the first section of the chapter, "Understanding the desktop", so as to achieve the consistency of chapter. ps2: It seems to me that the first section of the chapter, "Understanding the desktop", needs the most work.
