Hi, we have talked about this subject on a meeting http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2011/05/01/%23ubuntu-manual.html#t21:22, and i *think* we reached to the following conclusion
Have the current contributors at the top (with roles/titles) and the past > contributors below (names only), translation editors can be listed in the > English edition. Individual translators will be listed in their translated > edition only. > Although we have to define this parameter and give an official answer, maybe we could do this on the next meeting. We must have in mind that since we use Creative Commons license we can't remove an author from the credits, if the his/her material is still in the manual. Cheers ! --John c7p @ freenode
