We work toward this goal through this website and in-person outreach events. - http://stillmaintained.com/ : Finally a place to mark your open source project as abandoned or looking for a new maintainer. These two pages could be useful for getting quickshot going. If flan and jenkins are still maintaining the project then we can search for new contributors (openhatch.org) if not the stillmaintained.com is the proper place for a project looking for a new maintainer.
