I really see no convincing concepts for icons for "Default Applications" and "Software and Packaging". All icons should make sense (i.e. not seem forced) and aesthetically pleasing. To not interfere with the text when used in the background at a large size, they should have few elements and no small details. They should be in line with our desired tone, which mainly means they shouldn't seem silly.
