I've had a bit of a look at it, and it looks like it could be a goer. It is pretty much a way to get .pot files out of LaTeX, which can just be uploaded into Rosetta, and then translated from there. One thing I'm slightly wary of is that the gettext system is designed for translating short individual sentences in a program, rather than a big chunk of documentation. However, I think the Rosetta integration will probably make using it worthwhile.
I've been having a fiddle in my bzr branch, and it looks like it should be pretty simple to get a .pot file uploaded so that translations can start. We'll need to look at automatically exporting them from a branch for the future, but for now doing it by hand will do. -- No translation support for project https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/503325 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Manual Team, which is a bug assignee.
