I know I should have used the bzr channel but here goes... 1. Unix came out in the '70s not the '60s. Also, Unix now is used to denote a whole family of operating systems. GNOME stands for GNU Object Model Environment and should not be written as Gnome. 3.The variants' list should read : ~Ubuntu Desktop ~Kubuntu ~Ubuntu Server Edition ~Ubuntu Netbook Remix ~Kubuntu Netbook Edition ~Xubuntu Apparently the terms edition and remix are not interchangeable. http://www.ubuntu.com/aboutus/trademarkpolicy Besides, these are the official names. 4.A 32-bit OS can support 4GB of memory. I believe 32-bit editions of Windows however can access only 3GB. 5.LTS releases are not necessarily more stable than normal reseases. They only have a longer period of support for those who want longer periods of time in between updates. 6.The alphabetic order started from 6.06 LTS. 7.A LiveCD runs majorly off RAM. Apart from the CD's READ not WRITE speed, the other factor slowing the LiveCD is the reduced memory available. (The FS etc. are also stored in RAM) 8. "...LiveCD can be used on any computer (Mac, Windows,Linux)...". We would not want the green horn to confuse operating systems with architectures now would we ? 9. There might be no single way to configure a BIOS to boot from the CD but the manual should give some pointers such as following the on-screen instructions. 10."...Wubi allows you to install Ubuntu inside Windows as a program..." This is a bit misleading. Coupled with the mention of a virtual hard drive, the reader might think it akin to virtual machine. 11.Wubi uses a loopfile not a virtual hard drive.
