It would be highly appreciated if you can help me with some pointers of what exactly to 'try' in wvdial / gnome-ppp. I have vague memories of hacking on wvdial and gnome-ppp years ago and afraid those memories are fuzzy and not such good memories :( - for the past year or so, touch-wood, I have just plugged in a Photon and it has worked with clicking a few buttons on the GUI, so I'm really completely out of touch with debugging these things.
