Hi Karthik,
Agree with Raghavendra. Use Remastersys. Best way to achive that would be
just make a backup iso from a system already running an updated version of
ubuntu with all required applications, and then install on the new system
using this generated ISO. We've been doing this in our college labs for a
year and it has been working very well for us. So that i would conclude, is
a simple to use, non-geeky solution.
