Hi

Is there any l2tp VPN client is available for Ubuntu/Linux ?? ( VPN server
is M$ server 2003 Ent.)
network-manager-pptp plugin (which uses pptp-linux) has worked well
for me in recent past. But as the name suggests, it may not support
L2TP protocol. You can try though.

Apart from that the only other client package which has L2TP name
mentioned anywhere in name/description is kvpnc. See if that helps
you.

network-manager-pptp is not working with L2TP protocol ??? I have not tried kvpnc ... ( but I think it will require KDE library ...I'm using gnome )
