Hi Sivakumar, > I THANK WITH MY FULL HEART FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE THIS 'LIVE CD' stuff.
First of all, good to know that you like Ubuntu a lot, and more importantly, that you love to experiment with softwares/OS's on your computer. As has been pointed above, there is most probably an error in the configuration file for your GRUB (the bootloader in Linux). You can pop in a live cd, and fix grub/repair the config file, after checking out the tutorials on the net. In case repairing the menu.lst file does not work, I might recommend re-installing grub. Just remember that grub is a double edged sword... damn powerful, but at the same time can wreack havoc with partitions. So tread carefully :) Feel free to post back with any further problems. As a side note, writing in CAPS is considered to be shouting, and some people in the mailing list can feel offended. We do know that you are new here, so maybe you could have a look at this once: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community/mailinglists/etiquette Happy experimenting :) Ninad S.
