Looks like your boot sector is locked by some other OS. Tell me one thing, while installing Ubuntu have you seen that Ubuntu setup asked you about boot/GRUB option?
Other suggestion is that install Interpeid Ibex from the boot menu instead of first starting it from the DVD and then install it. Hope it will work :) On Sun, Feb 15, 2009 at 6:00 AM, <ubuntu-in-requ...@lists.ubuntu.com> wrote: > Send ubuntu-in mailing list submissions to > ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > ubuntu-in-requ...@lists.ubuntu.com > > You can reach the person managing the list at > ubuntu-in-ow...@lists.ubuntu.com > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of ubuntu-in digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
