Hi Experts, Menu taskbar at bottom and top disappeared since two days. I am unable to click menu- When I want to shut down I have to press ctrl+del+alt which appears dialog containing log off / switches but *shutdown *disappeared forcing to choose logoff instead of shutdown!!. Even run recivery mode doies not inmprove nor appeared (TWO WHITE STRIPS)AT TOP AND BORTTOM.but only background screen. i HAVE TO RRE-INTALL UBUTNTU-8.10 FROM SCRATCH. ANY SOLUTION IS FORTHCOMING?? -sriranga(76ysold)
