I want to shift from windows platform to linux (ubuntu) platform permanently.
As of now I use following applications in windows for my day to day activity: MS Office Microsoft Outlook (Email Client) Mozilla Firefox (Web Browser) Messengers (Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, IRC) Photoshop FTP Client MP3, CD and DVD Audio and Video Player So I want to know what are the application equivalent to these in uBuntu ? MS Office -> OpenOffice.org Mozilla Firefox -> Mozilla Firefox Microsoft Outlook -> ? Messengers (Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, IRC) -> ? Photoshop -> ? (GIMP is Photo Editor and not used for Creating Photos) FTP Client -> ? MP3, CD and DVD Audio and Video Player It will be great help for me. Thanks Regards Jayesh @ Bangalore
