sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g

and then change /etc/fstab (change all the 'ntfs' keywords corresponding to the 
partition to ntfs-3g)

I am using ubuntu 6.06 lts with windows xp. I had 2 ntfs and 1 fat32 partition 
in XP . Ubuntu mounts all the partition in xp but in NTFS partition i am not 
able to write any files it's says read only file system .Is there any way to 
make it writable in ubuntu
