Η έρευνα συγκλίνει λίγο περισσότερο προς τα άτομα που εκτός από τη χρήση λογισμικού ανοικτού κώδικα, συμμετέχουν και στην ανάπτυξη του. Έτσι δικαιολογούνται και τέτοιου είδους ερωτήσεις. Μάλλον η απάντηση είναι στην κρίση σας. Παρόλα αυτά, σαν πρόταση θα έλεγα "rarely" και στις δύο περιπτώσεις.
