The Ubuntu GNOME team is proud to announce the release of Ubuntu GNOME 16.04.2 LTS. This update is recommended for all users.
As usual, this point release includes many updates, and updated installation media has been provided so that fewer updates will need to be downloaded after installation. These include security updates and corrections for other high-impact bugs, with a focus on maintaining stability and compatibility with Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 LTS. Further maintenance updates will be provided periodically until April 2019. What's New =========== If you have previously installed 16.04.1, all you need to do to opt in to the new kernel is install linux-generic-hwe-16.04. The new graphics drivers are just regular updates; no need to install anything else. GNOME Maps has been included in Ubuntu GNOME 16.04.2.
