Hi,

I need some help with this serious issue for laptop users of
Ubuntu-GNOME. Mostly I'm copy pasting from thequestion[1] I had asked on
askubuntu.com. Basically, I want to completely disable the
auto-brightness change feature (even if it works fine idk) and it
doesn't work at all for me.Plain GNOME as such has an option for
disabling this feature in the Power Options but unfortunately
ubuntu-gnome doesn't(?). You can imagine how annoying and extremely
difficult to work with, when it randomly changed my brightness to its
whims and fansies (having said that, I'm still using buntu-gnome since
it sometimes remains constant :phew:). Neither can i leave Ubuntu nor do
i want to switch out of GNOME. If it comes to that, I might well have to
install GNOME on top of some other Ubuntu flavour and try :/

OS - Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 Had tried on 15.10 as well.
GNOME - 3.18.2/3/4; Didn't work on any of them.
Kernel - 4.4.0-22-generic
