So I had a play with it, but really don't see what it adds other than a fancy 
web based IRC channel that gets spammed facebook style with
pictures/links etc. It looks pretty closed, the free tier is pretty limited and 
there is the whole email domain thing. Surely there are better
tools for FOSS team collaboration!

What would be really cool would be a similar tool that integrates with our main 
IRC channel, something like IRCCloud, but free.

That said feel free to setup a channel and see if it takes off though. At this 
point our comms are so fragmented between lists/irc/g+/telegram
etc I guess it won't hurt.
