I think that's what I thought then, however with a Lenovo Yoga, there's
a accelerometer and the screen is supposed to rotate (see fix at
https://github.com/admiralakber/thinkpad-yoga-scripts). So I think that
it should be working?

Perhaps this is related to the other thing that I had described on this
mailing list with the shortcut meta + O (which is the hard button to
lock screen rotation).
